Content Developer: effective SEO articles

The writer writes to a reader. While that is true, for all marketing material created for the internet today, writers write for the editor that will accept or reject the content based on a set of criteria that has a pass or fail mentality. Money controls content, so while I still say content is King, the money that pays for it is the Queen that ruled the monarchy.

Each and every person that interact online is a write in one way or another. While letter writing has declined to about 10% of what it was pre-internet. Today, people are writing more words than ever. The influence on emails on our daily work and personal lives stand as proof to the words that we are coming in contact with and how much they actually affect our day-to-day lives.

But a writer does more than speak to friends and family. Writer will go out and write to the public or the niche market that will become that public once a contract for words is created and executed. Once the truth comes out the writer is more than just a word smith, they become a commodity, a point, a counter-point. A good writer captivates readers no matter what the topic. They research well and write better than the research if they want to really make money writing. Or they could write a book. A book is what every writer wants in their library, their own words collected from start to finish. Name, royalties, the works. A book can really launch a career or kill one. If you want to make money writing, you need to be good at one of two things, be good at both and get rich quick.

I’ll tell you what they want first and then I’ll tell you what you need to do to give them what they want.

They want words about themselves or their subject matter. They want you to introduce their information to enough new eyes that a new flow of traffic is generated to the home source of information (i.e. website or blog) and eventually add more revenues to the fiscal return of a fiscal year. Every company wants to make more money then they spent. As a writer you have to know what you are worth before you begin. Even without proof of what you can do you must inform your clients that you expect the best results and anything less is unacceptable.

Content IS King

Even without a well running website or blog you can take control of keywords and phrases and add more unique visitors that are pre-qualified then ever before with quality content, articles for sale.

You CAN get what you want out of content marketing your subject.

More than advertising, a write must be comfortable writing around a subject and incorporating the client’s information within the body of the text. Give every article a good title with keywords and write and edit and edit and edit some more. If the client wants to get involved with the editing process we recommend that a solid process of renaming articles is agreed upon, and quick turn-around on edits passes is achieved. Johnny on the spot is always better than Johnny behind.

I will go into more detail what exactly makes an article work. I would hope that you already have a plan, an idea, for making whatever you write effective. There are steps to miss, there are steps to hit. I will show you ways to create new content that never misses, even when you are making the most of NOT writing.
